| I'm gonna get the pictures later on today, and maybe some video as well. Please just be patient - I know I've kept you guys waiting for awhile, and I apologize, but they will be here soon. BTW, screwballl - that's a nice looking truck you got there. See, if I had something like that, I wouldn't have been trying to squeeze a TV stand (in it's box) and a Futon frame AND it's cushion into my Mustang at the same time. Believe it or not, I got them both in there. I couldn't see anything out the back, but by God, I got them in there! LOL! And something else too, screwballl - you mentioned that you had removed the emissions equipment from that one car and saw better gas mileage as a result. Wouldn't it go to say that any additional equipment (even if it is meant to help clean up the air) would increase the mass of the vehicle anyway, thereby decreasing the mileage? I know there's not a lot of weight to a sensor, but what about the catalytic converter? Was it a large piece of hardware, or was it just a matter of removing something that gets in the way of engine power output? I don't know that much about this stuff, so I may be talking out my butt, but it just seems that the power to weight ratio would be affected with the additional equipment. If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! Last edited by Gig-O-Ram; May 4th, 2008 at 11:48. |

| That's okay - my wife isn't really a fan of the seats either. She prefered the leather trim seats in the 06. So did I, since they're easy to care for. I'm good with the cloth seats, but I know that cloth can tear and get stained, so I'm hoping that doesn't ever happen. We've thought about taking the cloth seats out entirely, and putting in leather seats again, but that may take a lot of money, so we'll see. If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | Maybe we need a car thread? We have member pics, pet pics, so car pics would be fitting INTEL E8400 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 4GB DDR3-1600 // Palit HD 4870 // Antec 1200 // Seagate 750GB HDD // Zalman CNPS9700 // BFG ES 800W PSU |

| Great looking car bud, the new mustangs are the first one's I've liked, and I think they really got it right. Yours is particularly sharp! |

| Colonel Calamity | wow looks great Gig!! and to answer your previous question: Quote:
On my 04 Durango, if the cat sensor wasn't tied directly into the computer I would have it removed as well (although some have bypassed this by drilling and threading the sensor into the exhaust manifold). This is usually only suggested of vehicles around 1990 or older or heavily modified anyways (race equipment, off road truck, etc). ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
