thats because we know how to make our chairs

you would be surprised how far a few cinder blocks and two feet of a 2x8 will go when your on guard duty

Or a couple of MRE boxes. Those damn MRE cardboard boxes could almost be used to line the floors of our trucks with.

come to think of it, walking to the PX yesterday i noticed that some of the IDF duck and cover bunkers were lined with cardboard and styrofoam underneath with the bottom layer being cement of course.

Gawd I remember those damn days!!! Back at Lewis as a buck sgt, our 1SG had a saying. Fastest way to make Spec, was to get caught sleeping on CQ as a SGT. SDNCO was a trip tho. Other than the fact you were up actually for more than 24hrs, it was really easy duty. I remember one guy would down 2 2liter bottles of Mountain Dew to keep him awake through the night!!! I feel for you guys still pulling them.
