thats because we know how to make our chairs you would be surprised how far a few cinder blocks and two feet of a 2x8 will go when your on guard duty

come to think of it, walking to the PX yesterday i noticed that some of the IDF duck and cover bunkers were lined with cardboard and styrofoam underneath with the bottom layer being cement of course.

Gawd I remember those damn days!!! Back at Lewis as a buck sgt, our 1SG had a saying. Fastest way to make Spec, was to get caught sleeping on CQ as a SGT. SDNCO was a trip tho. Other than the fact you were up actually for more than 24hrs, it was really easy duty. I remember one guy would down 2 2liter bottles of Mountain Dew to keep him awake through the night!!! I feel for you guys still pulling them.
