I did this sort of thing in high school... my team did pretty good. We had a nifty trust fund or something... ummm, forgot what it was called, honestly. Was tanking for most of the competition, but picked up at the end and paid off. And borders... woooweeee. We made a crapload off of that company.

Sadly, we were still in 2nd place with one week to go, so we spent 20000 on creative stock on an all or nothing bet.

It didnt work, lol.

I stepped into google with it low so hopefully it will turn back around and step back up... a few others I am looking at now if one of the others start dropping...

yep I just saw that too....
RAID got nailed due to the large sell off of CCU...
my exxon and google pretty much cancelled each other out

Considering the phase of the market at this time,and the amount of trades vs cost....I really didnt do bad.Most of my loss was cost/fee for trade.Some of my stocks did very well first thing this morning,so I sold.Others fell hard and were still falling sharply,so I sucked it up and dumped them.After reviewing some good read,I noticed that Coka Cola was supposed to jump up hard....I'll be a SOB it fell on the floor.

BUT...I will keep it there for a day or 2.....all indications say it will come back strong and save my ass.No worries,I didnt do that bad.Atleast im buying and selling....unlike most of you wimpies with 1 trade.

This was one of those days when the question wasn't losing but how much lost. Damn, some serious red ink out there. I had one redeming investment that finished up about a buck a share. Things looked good till this afternoon when the stuff went south.

Tomorrow is another day.

Haha, I'm investing nearly exclusively into Circuit City... hahahaha.

EDIT: I just invested 1000 shares into CC... hahaha, this investment will suck... haha.

damn the transaction waiting period! i was actually going to make a nice profit when i sold but by the time it went thru, it fell. then my other stocks sucked.... oh well

OK, so I just invested 1000 shares into Circuit City, 100 into Intel, and 500 into AMD... haha, let's see how this goes.
