I just sold my two Google shares. I figure it probably isn't going to go up a whole lot and even if it does, I've only got two shares so it won't turn into much. I took the $150 I made off it today and ran!

Woot! Top 10! What a great day!

I have thought about selling something, but I want to stay relatively diversified - even with only 4 stocks I've tried to spread it out some to minimize the impact if anything bad happens.

On days like today I will just hold on for the ride.

Holy shit!
Google just made me $2 grand, and Blockbuster just gave me $30.
Funny. 21 shares of google gave me 800% more than 1500 shares of Blockbuster did.

Hello #3!

I'm glad I woke up a tad early today to check it :P

This is just beautiful :D

good luck, many brokers or traders require minimum $10,000 to start with and then certain number of trades per year... look at the fine print to see how bad they shaft... er how you need to do it. Some charge yearly fees, some monthly fees, some no fees but their trade fee is expensive... there are all sorts of extra crap.
For example, this is from Ameritrade:

Quote:
30 day trade offer valid for one new individual or Joint TD AMERITRADE account opened by May 31, 2008 and funded within 30 days with $2,000 or more. $100 bonus requires $25,000 funding. Additional $100 bonus (for $200 total) requires $50,000 transfer. Additional $200 bonus (for $300 total) requires $100,000 transfer, all within 30 days of account open date. IRA and other tax-exempt accounts are not eligible to receive the cash bonus offers. Offer is not transferable and not valid with internal transfers, accounts using the Amerivest service, accounts managed by independent investment advisors and maintained by TD AMERITRADE Institutional, current TD AMERITRADE accounts or with other offers. Commission-free Internet equity trades will be limited to a maximum of 500 Internet equity trades. Qualified commission-free Internet equity orders must execute within 30 days of account funding. Limit one offer per client. Taxes related to TD AMERITRADE offers are your responsibility. Retail values totaling $600 or more during the calendar year will be included in your consolidated Form 1099. Account must remain open with minimum funding for 9 months, or TD AMERITRADE may charge the account for the cost of the cash awarded to the account. TD AMERITRADE reserves the right to restrict or revoke this offer at any time. This is not an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction where we are not authorized to do business.

I made some small change shorting Google after their nice run. They were overbought and the MACD showed a small downtrend forming with a fresh cross.

today was some mixed trading, most of mine did decent or didn't drop very much. At least I am closing in on 8200 again... and my other buylow guy did well with Toyota making a comeback
