Here are the top ten as of the close of business Friday 04 April 2008.

Should be interesting to see what Monday brings as to a new day. Personally I dropped my NCC bank stock. I know someone is going to buy that damn bank but haven't a clue and I was getting tired of losing money waiting. I should have held my FWLT stock in the energy sector. Meanwhile MDR and IEZ continue to overall be good to me.

In real life I actually own considerable shares of both, MDR and IEZ which have done well for us. Therefore I follow those closely. I have been cautiously waiting before getting into anything else this year. Funny how when you are using your own real money you tend to be real cautious with the investment decision making process.

Its also funny how given $10,000, nobody has made over $800, making stocks (in my opinion) not worth it.

Unless you strike it big, like buying some Bear Stearns @ $2 and then they go to $60 again.

You need to figure that you are looking at about a week return. If you look at an annual return, and figure only 20% ($2,000) that isn't bad. If you have an investment of say $200,000 yielding 20% annually that is $40,000 annually. Not a bad return at all.

Correct////...everyone here is trying to make big in the shallow fast market.I went full force.BUT...I dont have the time later on to "work" it.I will stay with big name,corp...oil...etc....WWE etc.....I won't be here during business hours.Major disadvantage.Im going to invest in 1 stock, all I have, and hope for the best.On rain days,if I don't work,I can "play".

Zambini ... the stock market can produce very nice gains if done right.

If the overall market recovers then moneys will trickle down to the small caps and the penny stocks.

Penny stocks can go up a 1000% in a day. [Usually through boiler room antics]

With Penny stocks ... you can pick up several hundred thousand stocks cheaply and make a fortune on a modest run.

Currencies and futures are also very nice ways to make money.
