Well a fresh new day begins today. Yesterday was a real good day all around. Let's see if the market drops early on with profit taking from yesterdays big gains. Then maybe settle down.

Bill Gates passed by Steve Jobs, guess Apple is doing better than Microsoft is today...

sumgai lost his ass on KBR on the 28th...
everyone else so far is just holding on... no much movement today

but looks liek Tech stocks are taking another stumble right now so we will see if it pulls out by later today.

edit: seems tech are staying about even or a touch lower than yesterday but not by much.

looks like whatcanbrwn has had good luck with his Circuit City stock... already $600 up from when he bought them with Zambini holding on not too far behind him with Google...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

If I've learned one thing from this little exercise, it's that I have no business messing with stocks. Ever. I'll stick to the IRA route

the buylow login is just my experiment to see if short term trading (buy it when it appears to be low and then sell it a few hours later or next day when the price may be a bit higher) can net any real profit. So far today I am $1,000 down from yesterday in regards to profit, but still sitting on $11,047 equity... this is due to the stock he is holding now dropped $0.40 after I bought it and dropped the value of the entire stock held $900+....
Luckily the one that caused me problems on my regular name ended up coming back up and I sold it for $20 over what I paid (bought 20 @ $404.99 = 8099.80, sold 20 @ $405.84 = 8116.80). i was expecting a loss since I was selling when it was still going down...

If there's anything i learned from the VSE it's this:
If you have $10k to toss around, go buy a boat or something.

Another entertaining day. I dropped FWLT as it was losing and got off it at a good time. I held my other energy sector holdings. Then I decided to get real stupid and bought NCC which is a local bank in trouble. They have been looking to sell and seeking a buyer. I figured it wouldn't drop much below $10 a share. Figured that wrong. I hope the hell someone buys it. I was looking for Key Corp to make an offer. Maybe tomorrow.
