yeah google nailed me too.... started off strong this morning and dropped off this afternoon. I had to drop most of my Exxon as their outlook was lower than expected so that always drops it down several dollars... maybe once they start to pick back up in a few weeks, I will get some more.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

We have a new record already. I never saw someone run 52 trades in 2 days. That has to be a first.

Also Steve Jobs is doing well holding Microsoft and likewise Bill Gates wit his Apple holdings.

My MDR was my own redeeming holding while my IEZ and FWLT started well and fell later in the day.

50 trades @ $10 each = $500.... thats cutting out some short term spending cash

True...but as with anything, you need to spend money to make money.Since I dont have the capacity to really learn the market ins and outs,(and this is for fun),although I did some quick research and watched the MAN at Penn State a couple nights ago for some ideas. There are certain stocks groups that are moving all day, other groups are moving in the AM then falling below, and another group that does better, afternoon, and lastly, those that just suck, but are normally good movers in a robust market.
The first day I did this,I tried a little of every group and a couple I had thought would do well (but did not think about how crappy the market is at this time) and lost pretty bad with them. Then I did some research online, and found some trendy stocks that were at a constant rise, although a slow rise at that, but were consistantly in the green.
I had 2 particular stocks today that did very well...went high, and I sold.
2 stocks did very bad at somewhere of $100 loss.So make a $100/lose $100...went nowhere.BUT I learned from it...and now will try to stay with a few that should stay in the green.
Im still searching on a long term stock that will double/triple my investment.Still have time for that though.

Hey ... don't feel bad ... when I was in the market ... I carried 3 cell phones and traded over 20 trades a day ... sometimes over 50 trades a day. [Usually that was a bad day and I was trying to dig out of bad positions.]

Occasionally it was a very good day and I was selling in blocks. My best stock was 600,000 shares @.16 ... it rose to over $21 a share [Of course I was all out by $4.53 !]
