capitalism is all about production it is true and it is sad that some of the other comments are so combative and heartless in their defense of the "American Way" that they love, but in many ways are missing the point of, but the facts are still undeniable that without the output of the far more productive capitalist countries the other European coutries would be hurting. Production is the point of capitalism and while some tragically loose the value of humanity under it, the fact of the matter is that capitalisms greatest byproduct is the freedom to be anything you want rather than the opportunity to be whatever the government allows you to be. It is for this reason that those of like mind, under much durress found themselves here.
