Who has had the majority in the Senate for most of the current presidents term? Democrats Who has passed and pushed for more "tax breaks for the rich" since this president has been in office? Democrats using their majority Yet whenever Dole, Lott and Frist where the majority leaders, tax cuts for the low to middle class were top agendas that were many times blitzed or filibustered by several Democrats. Throughout history liberals have used more filibusters to prevent conservative issues from taking place (compared to the opposite, conservatives have used it less) which is why we are such a screwed up country now.
