I am very sorry to hear that Rich. I know Dogs are part of the family, so when they pass, it's just like loosing a kid. I have been there, and I know how hard it can be.

So sorry to hear about Mars Rich. I'm a dog lover as well and I know how hard it was to lose our 15 y/o Pomeranian in Feb. My heart and thoughts go out to you guys.

BTW, we had our Pom cremated and placed in a mahogany urn. One day, we will find a nice place to give her a proper burial. With all that's gone on, we haven't done so yet. Call us animal freaks, but it's nice having our pup in that urn sitting in our living room.

I uploaded some pics of Mars for your entertainment.

He understood English perfectly, especially the words "Laser", "Ride", or "Treats".....even if you spelled them instead of saying them. He also enjoyed his heated swimming pool a great deal, and occasionally let others join him for a swim, as long as they played with him.

At another site I wrote for, mars used to pick contest winners for us.....but the one thing i'll remember for probably the most was the entire 16 lb turkey he ate for Thnaksgiving three years ago....bones and all.

Most definitely. When I stayed out there for CES, Mars slept at the side of my bed every night, and buddied up to me pretty frequently when we'd watch a movie downstairs. HUGE dog, and just a big friendly baby underneath. I was really looking forward to seeing Mars again at this upcoming CES.
