Welcome to a few months ago.

The issue was because the brake fluid ate away at the seals on a switch from a third party manufacturer, that was located in the brake booster. It detected when there was brake pressure to kick off cruise control iirc.

You can't really blame ford, as it was another manufactures switch, that *COULD* fail, after YEARS. No way for ford to test the switch for that long.

Anyways, toyota has recently had a few bad ones too, snapping camshaft in the tundra engine, torque converter failing to unlock, tailgates that bend in half, etc..

....ummm,is the tank half full or half empty? Gas fumes ignite much faster and more violent than that of liquid.
