| ustjay oday itway | I'm assuming you mean did the insurance cover everything, sale price and shipping? Yes...I insured it for what the total sale was.As far as getting what it was really worth on ebay...never. I may have eaten a few $...but saved face with my customer, which is the most important thing. |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | Unfortunately, so much of it comes down to luck of the draw and persistence. My two experiences with insurance claims have been the exact opposite, where FedEx reimbursed me with little hassle despite not having a receipt, and UPS put me in a catch-22. A monitor I purchased years ago from Ebay came damaged, and I was told that if the damage occurred during shipping, then it wasn't packaged properly and the claim would be denied. And if the damage occurred prior to shipping, then obviously they wouldn't be held liable. 0_o |

| A friend of mine purchased 25 harddrives that were installed in a server rack, and removed the same day because they weren't of the customer's spec, they were packaged by the UPS store, and they came stacked together in a box that could barely hold them with NO packaging material. They sent him a check for $25 even with them insured for the full value. I ate about $100 in that deal because I purchased a few to sell and had to front the money so the transaction could be made. I've been using USPS priorety recently, and it just works. |

| Never used UPS personally or FedEX. work uses them and stuff goes missing allt he time. UPS is still looking for a 600 dollar Foose chrome wheel that was supposed to show up a month ago.... I've been using DHL for 5 years never had a problem. Plus I get majorly discounted rates if i ship at work, which is always a bonus. |
