Funny...as...heck! Hitman's a riot, ain't he? Now get the water cannons...

I'm a furry boy. I use a Panasonic to shave, when I want to get all clean and pretty. But I look like a 10yo when I do, so I have some trimming to do. If you want a clean all around shave, a good Norelco, Remington (self cleaning), or Panasonic will get ya there. If you have some beard you want left...those electrics won't do!

I have to have a chin skirt of late. It's just my look of the quarter. The electric can't touch it as it's not fine enough. So I splash HOT water on my face and use shaving cream. Personally, I like the brush and soap still...but edge gel will work I suppose.

I use a Mach3 to shave the cheeks (face, dillweeds) but up to the line. If it's a fancy day (like church) I use the cheapo Bic disposables to get the fine lines. Pink or orange, no worries. The Mach3 is still a guess and you can go south here very quick. If you go wrong, you're left with shaving the entire thing off because it's not right.

Pay attention to under the chin, as that is a hard place to get. If you're clean shaven, you can miss that spot. If you have a goat...still missed. Right at the jawbone...there's hair left, I bet ya.

You can keep this up every other day with less methodology. But eventually if you hold a beard of some sort, you need a beard trimmer. It really seems like a seasonal thing, but I get sprouts of long copper hairs that want to stand out. A quick over all of it with a trimmer will keep you looking like a gentleman. See me on a 7-day run where I don't give a bee's knees, and you see a caveman...with freshly invented ax in hand. Yarr!

But really, if you are clean shaven; the Norelco, Bruen, Pansonic, Remington...they're all the same. None of the lates pull hair and are really close. Just clean them like you should, and they'll all treat you right. Don't forget the oil! Get a beard going, and you're doomed.

I know Paul has a killer goatee, and I think many of us have...or at least tried it out. I pulled off a 6-1/4" run before my daughter told me to cut it off. Here it is at probably 2-1/2 - 3"

The one I mentioned is a very good one but it is not a totally wet one. You open the head and rinse it out under tap water to clean it. It is very very nice.

Why in the hell do you want one that is wet shave?

Um, ya...it's serious. If you're shaving in the shower, grab anything with a blade. Put it to your face. Pull.

If you have a beard, then, um, oh, I don't know...remember that honest advice?

I think of wet shaving as the pink Bic. It won't last half a second with the coils of stainless steel that grow out of your face. If you're dealing with things that you can just quickly deal with, grab any wet shaver. It's perfect. I guess I mainly aim at others that aren't so lucky.

It's not a man thing, it's a curse. I figured someone asking about how to deal with this curse has tried many recourses and has found no end to the torture. Shave at 5am and have 5'o-clock shadow by 6am. Something like that. It's not awesome to have to deal with it, so there's no insult meant. I however feel if you're looking for a wet electric shaver, there's nothing that can beat the simple orange/pink capped Bic disposables. One really doesn't need a $50 shaver, that lasts 1 year, to do what disposables do.

It's not a joke. It's advice, as bluntly as I can tell it. If I want to be clean shaven, that's three shaves a day. We're all different. If you're a one touch person, you must say so or you get advice from a Wildabeast. Four days, I have a full wirey copper beard. If you have a beard that wants to come out, and time, I can't advise anything stronger than finding an old barber with the straight blade. It's a fun morning at best. If you're on the go...just keep it up with a Bic.

Can't find fault in that. I can't shave in the shower, so I can't give advice for those that can. Sounds pretty minor IMO.

I just don't understand why a guy is wanting to shave in the shower. Also mate, Norelcos are known to last upwards to 10 years. The one I have has a 5 year warranty I believe. Then again, as I have already stated, it cost me $140 roughly.

I would definitely suggest trying a good Norelco.

I ended up getting a single screen $35 special made by Braun and it's definitely one of the better shavers I've used and the ability to clean it in the sink with water is great. I was using an old Norelco model with the three circle things and I really didn't like that very much compared to the ones with the regular long screens.

The long screens have higher rates of ingrown hair.
