Mother bord: the large board you havein your PC which has slots for things to run from, the motherboard is the thing that allos hardware to connect to each other and allows power to reach them. RAM (random access memory) this is the stick of computer with blck rectanglesembedded witin them, RAM is ued fr storing information about comuter programs, it teporary store program info so its easy to locate if you run a progra more tan once, programs re qued if they exceed te ram capacity. | Colonel Calamity | now once I go to total SATA (next build ??? ), them I may clean up some of the PSU wires or go with slim modular wires... not sure yet... with a space heater cpu like a PentiumD or EE then I can see where airflow will be much needed. When it comes to low wattage systems, airflow becomes less of a problem unless you have a SLI/Crossfire setup where the cards double the ambient temps. now if I have some time later i will write something up... not sure if the wife/daughter will allow me this time or not. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | Same here. If I'm in a hurry and just do quick build, I usually try to make the wires as good as possible in the allotted time. On my main rig though, I make sure every wires is tucked out of the way and as out of the air flow as much as possible. No small feat for a P180 either.
