That is very true. All the single movies and software were all usually about $1. There were so many different versions of Windows it was rediculous. It was also funny to see all of the made up versions of windows too! Same goes with the movies, a lot of the titles were mis spelled or just plane wrong, some of the actor's names were wrong, some of the descriptions on the back described totally different movies than what the box was. About everything you can think of, it was hilarious. I bought some software, games, and movies just to see if they worked. Some of the movies were perfect, while others would switch between color and black and white, sometimes the sound would cut out for 10 seconds or so, and they would scroll this thing across the screen saying that it is a demo version only and if you bought it illegally to please call some number and report it! All of the games I got were just viruses, and half of the software I got wouldn't work but some worked perfectly. That whole country is just crazyness!!

Yep, I went there the summer of 2004 on a study abroad trip through my university. We went to Shanghai, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Beijing, and Lhasa (Tibet). The whole experience was prettymuch amazing; it felt like I was living a National Geographic magazine!

Yeah, I remember those promo tapes/DVDs. I used to work at a video rental store, and studios send out those movies well before the release date in hopes that after watching the flick, you'll be inspired to order more copies for your store.

Yeah, I have a copy of Scooby Doo 2 with that little scroll thing across the middle. It's gay, but you get over it.

I got CS2 for $7 in Malaysia!

BTW, this movie ruled. I snuck in on opening night with my friends. It was so good, but the ending was so weird.... BANG BANG BANG. Movie over. The last shooting was the least expected. But I found the ones near the elevator the funniest.

If you were ever in a real live gun battle you would probably panic and hit nothing but dirt and trees.
