I would love to hear from GIMP users how it compares to Paint.NET and a commerical program like Adobe Elements or Paint Shop Pro.

Paint.NET is actually a surprisingly good program. I am a Photoshop user, but I prefer Paint.NET over GIMP (but I think that's just because Paint.NET is more alike to Photoshop than GIMP is). But then again, I don't have much experience with GIMP, just the couple times I have attempted to use it and got frustrated because everything was different.

Good job for your first one! I did both sig and avatar in PhotoImpact 8.5 I've found it to be a good one to use on stuff like this...among other things.

I know Ive been MIA for a while now but recently moved, anyhow nice sig. Anyone able to make one for me or how does all that work? I need somethin other then the normall, any onfo or help would be much appreciated.
