Only problem is we couldn't install a filter on the line because it seems like the phone is permanently attached to the wall/cabinet... so we get quite a bit of noise on the line from the internet.

Im using a samsung U-600 and going to upgrade as soon as I have the money and old enough to get onto a contract (18 y o here).

The phone is Ok but I dont dont seem to enjoy using it was a novelty with the touch buttons at first and now I just want to press a button or go for a complete touch screen.

Next planned phone is a nokia N96 because of enclosing a DVB tuner and thinking about it you can save to the internal 8GB memory and use the TV outpugh through the headphone socket.
Walla you have a portable PVR!

Would love a PDA just to say I have it but I dont need it and I feel few people do NEED this really!

Just my thoughts!!

Because you need a Nokia N96? Owned a N81 when it got out. It was "the shit" back then. Looked cool for a week then I sold it, seeing that when the novelty fades away, all I need for was to make calls. ;)

Eventually yeh all we really need is to be able to make a phone call, text and maybe the odd quick photo.

And no I dont NEED a N96 but if I am going onto contract I may as well
(thats how I see it).

I guess some people may use their phone as an MP3 player/ a way of carrying around files.

A male usb port would be nice on a phone but then thats what my flash stick is for!

*shrugs*
You're always paying it, whether or not you're on a contract. That's how I see it.
