| I have to admit, even though I'm in the AF, the Blue Angels win over the Thunderbirds any day of the week, hands down. | T-Rex | Blah blah blah, no money for the site. No wonder, those suckers must cost quite a lot to fuel ya? :P Edit: Oh and freaking nice video. Gotta love the sound. |

| I would disagree with you on that point. How many Thunderbird and BA shows have you been to? There's no way Navy F-18's are bigger showstoppers than Air Force F-16's. |

| Colonel Calamity | I lived close to Ellsworth AFB in SD for the first 22 years of my life and we had the Thunderbird shows every single year Now for the past 7 years I have lived close to Eglin AFB and there are the Blue Angels shows usually 2-3 times per year here. Aslo since being here I have seen both have shows in the past year locally. Based on what I have seen, I would say the Blue Angels put on a better show and demonstration as seen from the ground. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | I love the Blue Angels. That video was awesome. Brought back a lot of memories. I was stationed in Pensacola for about a 10 months going to Aircrew Canidate/Rescue Swimmer school for the Navy. Was only supposed to be there for a few months going through schools, but injured my rotator cuff and had to be extended. Not a bad deal to get to be on light duty for a few months waiting for my next class to start. Got to see a alot of the angels. There is no motivation like PT'ing on the seawall with the Blue Angles screaming around you. You felt no pain even though it was probably the 200th flutter kick or the 500th push up. The pain always seemed to melt away when they were around. That video brought back the chills I miss. SIG Under Construction - working on something new. |
