Well, do you mind linking up or providing more info for the items? That would help a bit.

Here's something I found out with your rig:
You will actually save money by going to S939 because there is a S939 board cheaper than your current and then you will be able to buy a retail Athlon 64 3000+, knocking off the cooler and AS5 (the stock cooler is bearable for decent overclocking, with which Grams PC, shouldn't be too much of a worry.

So, I'll link it up! I'm giving you a choice on the motherboard. They are both S939 boards, one by Foxconn and one by Biostar, and one having a SiS chipset and another having a nForce4 chipset (respectively). The Foxconn is $24.99 after $15 rebate, where the Biostar is $49.99. You choose.

Biostar:

Retail S939 Athlon 64 3000+ - $69.99:

1GB (512x2) Corsair Value Select - $99.99:

eVGA 7600GT - $109.99 after $20 MIB:

Seagate 7200.9 80GB SATA3.0 HD - $44.99:

Lite-On 18X DVD-Burner - $29.99:

Antec Sonata w/ 450W PSU - $49.99 after $50 MIB :

Acer 17" LCD - $159.99 (I'm not sure which one you chose, but Acer is good):

XP Home w/ Vista Upgrade - $89.99

That entire system came out to $679.91 after rebates using the Foxconn board. Without rebates (and your real payment), it is $764.91. With shipping, it should account to just around $800! Jump on this now, because the rebates aren't going to be there that long, especially that Sonata one!

At least buy the Sonata. That rebate's not gonna be there long.
