| Well, do you mind linking up or providing more info for the items? That would help a bit. Here's something I found out with your rig: You will actually save money by going to S939 because there is a S939 board cheaper than your current and then you will be able to buy a retail Athlon 64 3000+, knocking off the cooler and AS5 (the stock cooler is bearable for decent overclocking, with which Grams PC, shouldn't be too much of a worry. So, I'll link it up! I'm giving you a choice on the motherboard. They are both S939 boards, one by Foxconn and one by Biostar, and one having a SiS chipset and another having a nForce4 chipset (respectively). The Foxconn is $24.99 after $15 rebate, where the Biostar is $49.99. You choose. Foxconn: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186092 Biostar: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813138248 Retail S939 Athlon 64 3000+ - $69.99: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103537 1GB (512x2) Corsair Value Select - $99.99: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145440 eVGA 7600GT - $109.99 after $20 MIB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130062 Seagate 7200.9 80GB SATA3.0 HD - $44.99: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148148 Lite-On 18X DVD-Burner - $29.99: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106042 Antec Sonata w/ 450W PSU - $49.99 after $50 MIB :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129155 Acer 17" LCD - $159.99 (I'm not sure which one you chose, but Acer is good): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009088 XP Home w/ Vista Upgrade - $89.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116169 That entire system came out to $679.91 after rebates using the Foxconn board. Without rebates (and your real payment), it is $764.91. With shipping, it should account to just around $800! Jump on this now, because the rebates aren't going to be there that long, especially that Sonata one! - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 500GB WD 7200.10 Caviar GP + 250GB Seagate 7200.9RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |
