Hohohoho. This is actually quite comical. And it's a hoax. Those guys would never have gotten involved with Biscardi unless they were there to make money; and they were. The debate on the Bigfoot will rage on, but this case will put a damper on the theory.

Man ... it makes no sense ... If a human was pumping an opossum it would be smaller than a man ... not bigger.

Makes for good tabloid fodder though, as there will always be people want to believe in the possibility. After the topic of this thread turns out to be another hoax, there will still be those that believe there's a species of Bigfoots out there mating, eating, sleeping, playing cards, fishing for Loch Ness monsters, and doing whatever it is that this fictitious creature does.
You have one major flaw in your theory. I saw the movie The Water Horse which described exactly how the Loch Ness monster exists! So take your skeptic theories and move along...

PRO FTW!

I bet it's just a hoax. Probably some dead human, with movie prop add-ons. The scientific testing will tell.

Already? Wow! That was faster than what a friend of mine thought it would take!

(sorry if this part is off-topic, but it fits with the whole mythical creatures category.)
I wonder if a sea cousin to the dinosaurs (remember I'm a Christian) could have survived Noah's flood? With all the tectonic stuff that was going on...still the sightings in Loch Ness make one wonder. I also wonder if a dinosaur has survived to the modern day, having going aboard Noah's ark. I believe they were around in the time of Job (who lived after the Flood) because it describes a creature that could only have been a dinosaur.

If this was already covered I apologize but my major question is .. if it wasn't Big Foot .. what was it? I know there was human and opossum DNA but what was in the freezer? I mean if they used a dead guy and opossum parts and fur wouldn't that be breaking a few laws? Beyond just being a hoax and looking stupid couldn't they be facing some serious charges?
