If they do not allow public examination with respected scientists and researchers, I also call bunk. Usually if they try to make a fortune off of it and use "photo evidence" only without any actual physical proof, it is the same as fake in my opinion.

No...what do you think there are no creatures out in the wild that we don't know about? There have been so many bigfoot sightings by honest people (read the Fouke Monster by Smokey Crabtree) that it's kind of hard to deny that they definitely do not exist. He didn't try to make money at all, he was sick of all the people bothering him. A movie director came in and swindled him though :S.
