Close games 2 weeks in a row what will the playoffs bring?

There were some phantom calls last night, reminds me of watching a Peyton Manning game.....win or lose, I'm sure I'll be pretty irritated after watching the Steeler game next wek.

Brady gets a lot of questionable calls. All started with that Oakland game a few years back that they should have lost.

Hey the balts shot themselves in the foot really. Every game has questionable calls, and I don't think anything was really out of the ordinary. If the balts hadn't called a timeout, they'd have stopped them on 4 and 1, and won the game. And if pats hadn't gone off sides the balts would have stopped them again. Instead it was 4 and 6 and they converted. Overall it was a great game, I was pulling for the balts myself though.

Dead on Joker....the "Tuck" play, where Brady clearly fumbled the ball......ooops, well, lets make a rule up...after the fact.

Its sad that so much of this stuff happens, now instant replay has gotten way out of control, instead of showing clearly a play one way or the other, you have referees interpreting things as they see fit......whats a football move to establish control, whats considered a catch in the end zone, etc.....

A couple years back, the Steelers dominated the Colts in the playoffs, only to almost lose because the refs were so biased in how Manning was handled, topped off by the non-interception where Palomalu picked off Manning ran 5 yds, fell down, and fumbled the ball....only to have the ref say he never made a football move and it was an incomplete pass. (just an example).

IMO, the instant replay is a joke....what was supposed to make plays clear cut has instead made the officiating lazy to the point the outcome of games are obviously affected.

This isn't even taking into account penalties that are laughable, touching a QB like Brady or Manning is an automatic 15yd penalty, then you have WR pushing off and holding with no repercussion, yet defenders can't even touch anyone.....I understand they want a more exciting game, and most people like higher scoring, but lets at least try to make it look fair and unbiased.

I watched that last TD on T.V. this morning and he didn't have control until he was out of bounds. WTG refs another blown call and all so the NFL can keep the cheating Pats undefeated and try to make the Pats last game which is on the NFL network a must see in an attempt to get the cable companies to buy their package.

As I told Paul last night after the game

The truth of the matter is they didn't play a good game, and got beat by a better team. I think they learned from this, and would give the Pats a better game if they meet again, if Pittsburgh makes the playoffs.

NE will go undefeated, and they deserve it...cheating or not, they beat Dallas, Indy, Pittsburgh, and beat them all well

Pittsburgh moved the ball well the whole game, but you have to score in the red zone, and you can't trade FG with their TDs......oh, and you can't shoot off your mouth on TV guaranteeing a win, then get torched for two huge plays....well done Anthony smith. Also, if you are gonna blitz, your defensive backs can't play 15 yds off the line of scrimmage and let Brady throw those 5-7 yd routes all night.

bah I was watching this game yesterday and they showed the Pats next 3 games with Philly and another team doing well and then I check it today and its now 3 crap teams (NYJ, miami, and NYG) so I think someone is swapping some schedules to keep the good teams playing the bad teams.... I saw the GB schedule had not changed once so the conspiracy is all against NE.
Plus GB spanked Oakland when everyone said it should be a close game.
Will be nice to see GB and NE in the post season
