God... these reviews make me sick.

sometimes you can tell the quality of the reviewer by the quality of the review itself... I have seen a few myself but just not recently

edit: I was just looking at some reviews for the 650i mobo and found this:

My Motherboard Needs An Exorcist
Pros: Low Price. Had it at 3.6GHz CPU, DDR2 900 @4 4 3 8 2T 2.25V with Conroe and Super Talent. The topography of the board is great, I was able to run a GPU in the first PCIe slot and a Promise SuperTrack in the second with eight hard drives RAID5 which was great. Typhoon fits on the CPU. The quick connector for front panel conns. Don't have to rent scary movies anymore.

Cons: First one acted so strangely I swear a whole family must have been murdered somewhere in the dark halls and circuit board traces of this board. The daughters probably around where the SB has no heatsink, the mom bludgeoned with the super hot NB sink, the dad wanders around with the still-bloody axe between the yellow and black slots, cuz both work equally wacky. RMA'd the first one, the Egg basically threw another at me, awesome, updated to the 0401 bios and now its having cold boot issues. Price doesn't actually reflect cost, add another 8USD for RMA shipping, 12USD for SB heat sink, and whatever your day rate for pain and frustration is. This board and I are in a white knuckle death grip and neither one is letting go, I need it to work so I can justify getting a 8800, it just wants my soul.

Other Thoughts: The board is amazing when its in cute Linda Blair mode. Head rotates and green pea soup is produced when its in possessed child mode. For the life of me I still can't find the jumper that chooses between these two modes.

nMEDIAPC ICETANK 90mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: I am someone that builds computers and knows way around. When purchased this fan made sure it fits the specs. So this is by no means a slant opinion. The fan is large, bulky and did not fit on my motherboard. The motherboard on this system was not greatest shape as it was. But the clips broke the socket from this fan. Every time when I build a new box save the "Company" that provides the parts. This fan company will be blacklisted by me. Major Design flaws in the product. Given me a fast opinion of it. Well it did give me a good reason to build a new linux computer system. But do not recommend this fan it looks very sophisticated but not really geometric. The Engineers did not design the heat sink itself smartly. It should not be drawing away from the socket with big metal spikes. The bulk of it is the main problem.

Cons: Mostly everything but the look. It was not tweaked or forced. Although did get the heat compound on the blades after fiddling. 1,000 percent sure it was not my fault for what happened. Given by my assembly skills with computers.

Other Thoughts: Going to shop newegg now for new hardware parts. The salvaged ones graphic card, network card, and the burners and hard disk. The ram probably is bit slow by todays standards just going to go all new their. Faster response and all that, the case going to replace it too the airflow and quiet db was reason got this fan in first place.

did i read that correctly? did he really put the thermal paste on THE BLADES!? Who the f*** does that? And dissipating the heat without drawing it away from the socket, seriously how do these get by?

The two last reviews are truly WTF material.

I have to try thermal compound on my fan blades.

HAHAHA, I think he was referring to the heatpipes when he said "big metal spikes".
