"I thought I ordered a beer, not a dasani."
You're right you don't know sh it about beer. If you think American Beer is watered down your drinking the wrong stuff. Some States only allow beer with 3% ABV to be sold in Stores and Bars. That’s the beer that tastes like water. You have to buy Microbrews, or beers that are produced in lower quantities. Like those beers in the beer isle that only come in 6packs and cost $7.

The only countries that really dislike our beers are European Countries, and Canadians. That’s because the only beers they see from us are our Mass Produced beer flavored water. Korea makes the worst beer on planet earth. That stuff is so nasty you can barely drink it sober. It makes Milwaukie’s Beast taste like a German Beer.

It would be difficult to confuse Steel Reserve with water!

I have drank beer all over the world. Germany does have very good beer, with a very high ABV, but beer doesn't really change much from brewer to brewer around here. They don't get creative like the Microbrewers in the states. Microbrew is very popular back home (Portland Or) they have several Microbreweries that make all kinds of beers. Some of the best ones are McMenamims, MacTarnahan's, and Widmer. There is some really good beer in the U.S. you just have to look for it.

Redleg will probably argue against me on this one, but I think that Widmer Hefeweizen is actually just as good, if not better, then the Hefeweizen you get here in Germany.

Las Vegas has some really good Microbreweries. They have Gordon Biersch, and Main Street Station. Main Street Station is very well known, and they have the Triple 7 Brewpub.

Your right about the Microbreweries. I went to a minor league ballgame here and a small brewer had a booth and I'll tell ya what that was the best beer I ever had. Now if all beer tasted that good I might drink more of it so it's probably a good thing most of it is crap.

Yeah, being from Seattle I can fully support the Micro-Brew angle....being a dark beer fan I'm partial to Ballard Bitter and some of the other stouts
