to add to my post, which I'll merge later......lets keep it civil, i don't agree with Fastazz, but his opinion is just as important as mine, and should be respected.

As to President Bush and the Administration.....I voted for him both times, if for no other reason than he was the best choice available, which is a sad commentary on our government and country. Since the election, I've lost all respect and faith in our President and government to do the right thing. The Iraq war was very poorly planned and executed, and they have put us in a no win situation.
Lost in the war is the fact this government has abused laws to justify doing anything they want, disregarding laws that are meant to limit powers and create checks and balances, ruining our image around the world, and running our economy into the ground (I love how they say the economy is so strong.....but as i look around, i see the upper %1 getting stronger, while the rest of us go further in debt).

All great points here.

Here is the thing...everyone has an opinion - NO MATTER WHAT - EVERYONE has an opinion. No, you won't agree with some opinions, yes, you will agree with some opinions. Just because one person thinks one way, doesn't mean that person is RIGHT or WRONG. We have to realize this ESPECIALLY for a forum like Politics or anything, for that matter, that involves debating and opinionated issues. Don't let opinions and observations look at each other in a certain way.

I could see a picture and LOVE it SO much, but my best friend could DESPISE it. We could argue for so long about it. Am I gonna hate him because he doesn't like a picture that I do? No.

As to 9/11, both National Geographic and Popular Mechanics debunked the conspiracy angle that Loose change uses.
I dont "buy" everything that "Loose Change" put together, they offered very little information for the opposite side of the debate.I have watched and read the "Debunkers" theories too. Some very credible. This is how one can weigh the balance and form an educated opinion.

I actually think we were way beyond going to the Moon at that time in our history.(just my opinion)just not known to the GP.I have no proof of this but i am sure scientists are smarter than the GP thinks.Even in the 60's

So, i feel there are too many "coincidences" of that horrible day we lived.

I'm not angry about anything that has been said. As a matter of fact, Rich's commentary holds right on with my opinions of what's going on in our government. I'm not at liberty to say as much and in real life, I take it a couple of steps further than he has here.

I'm a firm believer in Occam's Razor. Many of my experiences in life have seen this theory proven out. Time and again.

While I really do believe that the current administration has over stepped the boundaries of the office of the Pres, I simply don't see any type of isolationist conspiracy being put forth by that administration. Is there an agenda to what has happened so far? I do believe there is. Do I think there's an intent by the current administration to deceive the general public on some topics? Yes, I do.

However, if anyone is trying to convince me that 9/11 was a planned event by our government to justify going to war in the Middle East, I just don't see it.

I'm not trying to start an E-Peen contest. I'm very secure in my online identity. I just don't buy into the conspiracy thing. I, like Fasttazz, choose to express my opinions on the matter among friends. I have absolutely no hard feelings towards Fast at all.

I know that this is a pretty old thread, and I don't want to get your argument started back up. It's just that a couple of months ago, I realized that 9/11 could possibly be an "inside job".

I am not a conspiracy theorist per say...well...I do believe that Lee Harvey Oswald and James Earl Ray were patsies, and that Lincoln's cabinet conspired to have him executed, but that's as far as it goes.

I started thinking about 9/11, and all of the justification for the 9/11 conspiracy theorists' facts, and much of it added up. The only thing I couldn't figure out is how Bush and Cheney had time to put together the massive super secret organization that it took to plan and execute the mission. I mean, all of this was done in less than nine months. Some of the Islamic "pilots" were entering the country and training before Bush was the front-runner of the campaign, long before he got elected. It would have taken many, many months to plan and set up the controlled demolition of the twin towers and WTC 7. A real devotee to push the button to fire the cruise missile towards the pentagon. All of this planning in total secrecy, and blood vows not to squeal. I really don't think you will find enough little people devoted to Bush and Cheney to accomplish this.

Then, it hit me. Maybe it wasn't Bush at all. There is someone else, with more time, more resources, more friends in high places and not so high places, more total devout devotees that work in middle level management positions and lower in the government, even in the military. One of the most brilliant men in the world. Such a patriot that no one would have ever guessed. A mere word could have started the ball rolling. He had years to plan and begin execution of the event. He had plenty of reason before the 2000 elections, and even more afterward. I've become pretty convinced that............

Al Gore planned 9/11!
