Wow nice house man!

I just don't get the part about the dining room... isn't that the part next to your kitchen countertop? Either way, I'd love to have SOME kind of office area in this house.

Thanks man. The wife did the large majority of setting it up. I got the garage and the formal dining room. Even though most houses have a formal dining room, and a good many of those are located right off the kitchen like mine, I just don't see that many folks in my age group using those rooms as formal dining areas.

I designed the desktop area with the three sets of drawers, which actually supports the desktop area, with flexibility in mind. Since I had the counter-top area made from solid 3/4" thick birch, I needed more support for the planned amount of weight it would bare than simple wall mounted systems would accommodate. The cabinets over the desktop area are fairly shallow in depth at just over 12". It's all fairly flexible in how you can change the shelves and such based on your needs.

I've had both of those chairs at one point in time. That POS $60 from wal-mart in front lasted about a year. The one in the back is a very nice and comfortable one from Office Depot :P

Nice house quak, glad to see ya and your family back up and runnin'

I am curious if there are still houses in the area that have not really been touched yet aside from normal cleanup??? I kno when we go to Pensacola and Milton there are still some commercial buildings that are torn up as if they just closed and never came back, and this was 3-4 years ago (Dennis and Ivan).

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Yep, there's still some houses that haven't been touched yet. For whatever reason.
