A couple things......

Rich and "spare time" don't go in the same sentence, but I grew up hunting deer, rabbits, squirrels, etc.....I lost the appetite for hunting after my military time.

Ron, they are from the south, so that should play into the IQ question you have. As to truth and such, i have issues with the story, and the whole Davey Crockett thing.....could just be throwing that out there because everyone in the south is related.

So like it's a DNA thing? Sort of like W. Va. where the DNA is all the same?

Yeah, sport hunting is pretty much retarded. Especially the rich guys who pay $XXXX to go to Africa and hunt Rhino and Lion (I saw one guy who actually killed a hippo with a bow...um...WHY?) I think the real fun would be leaving them out there with an unloaded weapon; see how confident they are after they find out there's no slug in their elephant gun while there's a Rhino charging them.

You still have time to be the C.L.I.T. Commander.

Davey Crockett was popular even back then. He probably had family franchises setup all over the south. So the chances of being relaited to him are pretty high.

My dad and brother have been bear hunting and returned successful but it was not just for sport, we ate everything that was worth eating on the bear (some of it was actually pretty tasty). I've also been deer, rabbit, squirrel, ruffed grouse, and woodcock hunting and we've eaten all of our game.

I have done plenty of hunting in my time, mostly deer and pheasant and we do eat whatever we get. My father and brother in law are game hunters so we always have a freezer full of venison and dove.. almost never have to buy meat for anything except maybe beef steaks.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I go hunting at the supermarket. People freak out when you walk in all camo'd out and a long rifle, and deer scent. I bagged 2 cans of corn, a head of lettuce, a loaf of bread and a brisket just the other day.
