and like the others said, there are much better western type movies out there from the 70s and 80s (and one or two from the 90s).

I may check it out. All my memorys for westerns are long sunday afternoons, watching a 3 hour westen while playing on a gameboy colour.

It IS a remake. Originally a short story written in 1953 then made into a move in 1957.
