Is that really a good idea? Your taking electrostatically charged sheets and putting them right against ESD sensitive components. You may be causing a latent failure among your mobo, HDD, or other devices. Most of these PCB's can be damaged by as little as 100V, and the electric shock you feel when you run your shoes on the carpet and then get the doorknob is at LEAST 3000V. (ESD classes come in handy occasionally)

There may be a disclaimer on the package identifying them as safe for use on electronics, and if so, I apologize for any worry I may have put you through, but I don't want anyone inadvertently damaging their system.

I think you might be confused, I don't actually clean my computer with them, I use them as air filters. I actually got the Idea from an Article in MaxPC July 06 page 38.
