| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | I think he meant $15 to upgrade during the purchase. Not sure though as he's not clear in the way he writes it. Playing around at Dell and configuring an XPS420, it's monitor-less and a 22" (SP2208WFP) adds $340 to the tally. Only two cards are available though in that package, the 8800GT and 3870. Both same price and don't see where I can add anything as far as cards go. I see TV tuners that start at $60 though in the following screens. I gotta go back and re-read the display size mentioned. I'm wondering if he meant porting to something like a 1366 x 768 32" LCD TV or really expecting to drive 2560 x 1600 computer LCD's. I seriously don't know how one would game at those resolutions even with two video cards...let alone two monitors. He better add three cards. |

| Modder-ator | Exactly. I suppose the fact that he suggests Windows Vista Business right at the beginning probably speaks the most for the target audience here. Still, its all a bit wacky to me... :dontknow: |
