Or just order the HDD as a separate order on the same card. It'll arrive around the same time as the rest of the stuff.

I think the saying goes "better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission"... well thats what I go by

Hah! My problem is that that approach only works a few times, if at all. In my case she starts to get wise after a few times. After 15 years of marriage I'm afraid I've gone to that well a few too many times and the path is now closed to me.

it depends on the action.... with computer stuff, I can get away with it 1-3 times per year on small purchases, once a year on large purchases online....

You dont know MAMA do you? I bought a new 99 silverado chevy PU 4x4 one time and she didnt talk to me for 2 weeks.Had it for 3 years...traded it in for a F250 super duty diesel class 3 without permission....WOW mama looks kinda phunny when molten flames of lava spew from her pie hole!!!!! Like anything...she got over it,they always do you know...and if she dont talk to me for a month or 2,well thats more quiet time with my new toy. my bad.Mama is a good mother, wife and woman.

NOTE to self *** show mama this thread incase of emergency!!

It works good if you use it very sparingly. A few years ago, I really needed an upgrade, but I mentioned it only once. It had been quite a while since I had bought any computer stuff...actually any toys at all. She walks in one day and asked me if I could build a computer for $1000.

I luv her so!

I work my wife up to it.... I build a new one every 2-3 years... I tell her that every few months and by the time it is time to do it she fights me on it for a week or two and then finally agrees to it (especially when she hears her computer is getting upgraded with the older parts but are still newer than what she currently has).
