x1950Pro comes to mind. If you want to go nVidia grab a 7900GS. Edit: One should note that the best bang for the buck between those two cards is the X1950Pro | |

| who needs two 7900GS in SLI when the cards are only DX9? It would be better to just grab one 8800GTS. However, in your price range, i say go with the 7900GS or the x1950pro. In canada, the 7900GS is wayyy cheaper, that's why i always say choose that one. (lol, it's just my bias) Anywais, about your overclock, you can run a cpu//ram divider and probrably push that cpu even higher than just 3.1ghz. Those D805 can go quite high. | a divider allows your cpu and your ram to run at differnt speeds. For instance, the cpu runs at 200mhz fsb while the ram only runs at 166mhz or 133mhz. Which allows the ram to run slower than the cpu, so you can ovverclock your cpu higher. For instance, my x2 3800+ runs on a 166mhz divider, so that my cpu runs at 2400mhz while my ram still runs at stock. You may have dividers named 200mhz, 166mhz, 133mhz, 100mhz. Or they can also be named 10/9, 6/5, 5/4 etc. E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz 2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz gigabyte P35 S3L eVGA 7600GT Stock 120 gig seagate ULTRA X-Finity 600w Sonata 2 w/ top fan G5 Lazer Mouse |

| Can I do that with my mobo?? Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 + Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL + Thermalright HR-05 IFX 2GB G.Skill 800MHz F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB Silverstone Decathlon 650W Western Digital 250GB SATA II |

| you should be able to. On asus mobos, i believe they use the 200mhz, 166mhz, 133mhz names. Change it to 166mhz to see how far you can go. Then change it to 133mhz if you can really overclock higher. It is always best to just overclock cpu unless you have amazing ram. EDIT: I forgot that you are using DDR2 ram. For DDR2 ram, the dividers are differnt speeds. You should have 800mhz, 667mhz, 533mhz, 400mhz. So, change it accordingly.
