| Functional Alcoholic | That Mobo only has 1 IDE port, so you can only connect 2 IDE devices. You should be upgrading to SATA hard drives anyways. |

| For what it's worth, I'm selling my 4850 in favor of a 260 for vairous reasons. It's a great card that I have no problem recommending, but the driver and heat issues just bug me. ![]() |

| It's not really an issue if your case has effective cooling, I never got any artifacts or anything. If your case is cramped and lacks proper ventilation, you could experience problems. ![]() |

| hmmmmmmmmmmmm...i was thinking of getting the antec 900 case...you think that should keep it at an efficient temp??? because my friend has the 9800gtx+ and it runs at around 130 degrees which is PRETTYYY hot!! and i heard its supppose to run cooler then the 4870 so i could only imagine how hot this card could get |

| Functional Alcoholic | That's 54c which is a tad on the warm side, but nothing to get too worried about on a video card under full load. If it idled at 54c then you might worry a little. |
