Yes, I see. Of course, by the time I build the rig, I'm sure they'll have something available.

It looks really nice, but it's 4:3 :( I may end up buying the monitor from Best Buy so I can actually see the screen before I commit to it.

Looks like pretty much the same thing I listed, except it's cheaper, recertified (what's the difference between that and referubished?), and it's out of stock :-( And that's too bad, too, because that'd take off about $120. I may be able to find something similar with DX10 this spring.

Neither would I; like I said, I'm just planning and I'm probably going to build it this Spring.

Lead Head wouldn't waste money on "anything", he'd prefer to play games at lower settings until DX10 comes out.
Besides $250.00 to 300.00 is not much of a waste for an almost top of the line card.

I can play most games maxed, and its $300x2, when a medium end G80/r600 for cheaper could probably beat both of them

If I was building the system today, then I'd go with a good single card solution. But since I can't afford it until Spring, DX10 cards will be available by then anyways, and I really want them.

Well, I like smoking, but I still wouldn't reccommend it to others.
