thats pretty much how I look at it....
I have had decent sales from PCConnection and a few other lesser known vendors without a problem

My big goes to the rebate companies, I am still waiting on $200 worth here 3 months later.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I forgot to add.

SanDisk Tech Support:
- They really pay attention to responses. I'm having some problems with my flash drive and they're gonna ship out another one once I send mine in. They even provided a prepaid shipping label.

Have you read up on the actual return time? I wouldn't be surprised if it was about 4-6 weeks.

I doubt if it is that, becuase HP's depot/repair center is in Edmonton, a 45 minute drive from my place.

I give HP another for it's phone Tech Support. I was on the phone for over 20 minutes, and at the end I still hadn't gotten a status report on my PC.

They're really good with returns and very smooth service, especially at the newer stores.

And when's Newegg going to start shipping to us eh Eagle?
You said it, STiX. I'll change my vote on them if they start shipping to the great white north (that's a nickname for Canada).

At least I got my status report today from Staples. They're waiting for a phone call telling them they got the original receipt so that they can update my warranty, which has 14 days left on it from today. At this rate, I might lose my PC...

If you look at the advertisement we have on HL, you'll see the companies we work closely with and strongly recommend....as all the advertising is free....We do this because we want to promote the companies whose service and products make them stand out in a crowded and competitive market.

Newegg....phenomenal service and support. I've never had an issue with them that wasn't rectified immediately after contacting them...either by email or phone.

ZZF.......Very good company. their service is good, not as fast as the Egg, but they also have competitive pricing and good customer service.

Tiger Direct.....I've never had a good experience with this company. From slow shipping, to crappy support, to ordering items, only to get an email a few days later they are out of stock and will be back ordered....I don't recommend them.

As far as Hardware...(These are always subject to change)

INTEL.............
AMD..............

Crucial.............
Corsair.............
OCZ................
Kingston..........
Super Talent....
Patriot............
Mushkin...........
G.Skill.............
GeIL...............
TwinMos.........
PQI................
PNY...............

ASUS.............
ECS...............
Abit...............
Foxconn.........
Gigabyte........
DFI................
EPOX.............
MSI...............

BFG..............
eVGA............
XFX..............

ANTEC............
Thermaltake.....
Thermalright.....
Cooler Master...

INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU

I basically agree with majority of those Capper, but I trust Asus a lot more than some in there. And you lacked to mention MSI. That's probably the company at the top of my list.
