| Had one of those EVGA boards before. Was a great little board. +1 for that over the Asus. |

| piano boy is dangerous. | One thing to consider for this build, cache. The E4400 has 2MB of cache, the E6550 has 4MB of cache. Cache helps in programs like Photoshop, or all in all big applications. It also helps in gaming. But your friend will be happier with a 4MB cache chip, IMO. ![]() |

| T-Rex | If he does internet and listens to music, chances are between 2MB or 4MB he would never see a difference. |

| Colonel Calamity | this is why I went with the E2140 (1MB cache) with my next build, since it will not be used for anything more than just normal websurfing and storage. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| He'll be doing gaming eventually, and he's still not completely decided between the two. Also, Paul showed me Abit board, which looks like another good possibility. My friend will probably be ordering this system next friday. So he and I are going to continue to weigh out all the options. Thanks again guys!
