Considering that for Dell the problem had an effect on a limited number of their Optiplex line dating back to mid 2005 if they havent failed yet I doubt they will. The bad caps were used in the Optiplex GX270 & GX280 machines.

Yep and Asus is not using the best available(which is dissapointing on a high-end board like the P5K Premium) solid caps and people who are EXTREME OCers are still blowing caps. Here is a pic from OC forums of a P5K Premium with 2 caps that blew when running like 5GHz or something on a quad. The guy was running very high cpu voltage and exotic cooling.

We had a dell 270 in the shop a few days ago and all the caps were all bubbled and disgusting.
stupid dell with their proprietary motherboard tray dictated a dremel and drill, or a dell part, the customer didn't want a dremel near their stuff....pfffffft
