The box looks like it had a rough time in transport. :D
Luckily these companies package their products well...

Lucky you spent the money on a good case.

According to UPS - it is supposed to have at least 6 inches of packing on all sides...

Yes I was very relieved that the case was not damaged.

Hopefully the rest of my parts will come today so I can start building.

Are you going to leave the USB / firewire up top or will you put a fan up there?

I have decided yet. I have a 5 1/4 bay control panel that Iam putting in it that already has all those ports. So I am not sure. I may put the fan in. I think its cool that you have the option. What did you do?

Left it as a USB port. If you're going to do that, you have to make sure the ground wire is in the right spot. When I bought mine, they gave no diagram - so I got zapped a few times. I eventually went to Best Buy and opened the Compaq version to see the correct grounding.

I like switching my sound from speakers to headset, depending on time of day. Having it up top keeps everything looking neat and easily accessible. I never open the front door - don't use CD's much.

Alright I am still in the process of building. Right now I have all three rigs up and running. Just a matter of tying up loose ends right now. I will give a full explanation of my build tomorrow. For now I will post some pics.
