I think I'll go with the one with the PCI-E connector just in case I need it in the future. It's not a very large price difference. Though I may switch out that headset for a cheaper one unless I can get a family member to get it for me for christmas lol

Gonna strongly agree with One4.

Also, why not add a hundred bucks to your budget, go Intel C2D. The performance increase there is staggering in a multi-tasking environment compared to the AM2 system you've listed.

If there's zero budget room, then just worry about $10 extra and follow One's advice. Go at least 400W on the PSU. While your video card doesn't need a power connector, your next one might.

eh. I've gotta keep this as cheap as possible. And to tell you the truth, there probably isn't even a large enough real world difference between the two to justify the extra $100. I'm not saying the benchmarks aren't impressive, but it's not going to change my life very much if I buy the Intel CPU (except I'll have a huge hole in my wallet lol).

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

On a side note, most PCI-E videocards that require a power connection usually come with a 4-pin molex to PCI-E adapter, and you can also pick one up separately (LINK). I'd still push for the higher end model though.
