warning on that MB u have, i've got it and right now its a real pain finding a non Intel Fan for the CPU cause of the annoying northbridge. Oh and you will have to modify the bios voltage for ram, this board is VERY picky about the RAM.
and if you're ever really thinkin about usin SLI, you'll lose basically all PCI slots lol, ok fine you have 1 available =(.
Thats the only regret I have about buyin this board. Oh and if you're around a Microcenter, you can pick it up at a store for 119.99 + tax, but Microcenter's 30 day no hassle is why I bought my board there instead of newegg.

Buy my board for 100 shipped so i can buy yellow's

I am very sad to announce this, but I will not be able to get this computer now. Multiple things have happened to my family over the course of the last week(Father is a truck driver and not getting paid enough for his miles, mother has an infected mastoid bone and needs surgery, my arthritis is flaring up badly and I need medication) and my parents don't really trust the internet(even though I assured them many times over that Newegg is a good place).

So, we went the Wal-Mart way and used their credit card so it can be slowly paid off over time. I got a Compaq. Sadly I can't use it until Christmas, but it serves as a nice table at the foot of my bed for now.

Specs:

Athlon 64 X2 4000+
320gb hard drive
2gb DDR2 memory(Expandable up to 8gb)
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE
Vista Home Premium(Ugh)
19" monitor with built-in speakers

I heard this thing only has a 250w psu, so once I can open it, I'll be swapping my current Rosewill RP-500 into it. We also may be able to get a video card close to Christmas if we can put back enough money. It won't be anything fancy, an 8500/8600gt or an x1950gt(depending on what the local computer stores have).

Reading this reply over, it makes me seems rather pathetic. Still 20 and having to leech off of my parents. :/ Next year I plan to work, so maybe then I can build my dream machine. I feel bad as well that I wasted your time on this now that I won't be able to build anything. But, I thank you all a lot for your help once again.

No worries RepliCarter; life happens, and we have nothing but well wishes for you. And if it's any consolation, that's a fairly decent PC your folks picked up. Slap a spunky videocard in there down the line, and it'll be a decent gaming rig too.

Thanks. :) We really need the good karma coming our way, heh.

And I agree, it is fairly decent. I doubt I could play anything other than Guild Wars on the on-board for long, but I'll live I suppose.

Edit: Sorry about the ghetto floor. My room was a new addition and we haven't gotten around to carpet yet. :p

On a related note, if it helps for future reference (videocard upgrade, for example), point your folks towards Newegg's reseller rating. Out of the 17,000+ user reviews dating back to 2001, they've earned a lifetime rating of 9.72/10. You can also point them to BizRate, in which they also enjoy an overwhelmingly positive shopper satisfaction rate out of over 100,000 users. And of course there's Newegg's AA rating at the Better Business Bureau, along with an interesting read in BusinessWeek. That about taps me out for ammo.

The video card in your sig would do a much better job of rendering duties than the one in your new machine. You could disable the onboard graphics and use the 7600GS instead.

Like Paul said, life happens. I pray you guys get a break here soon.

I wish I could use the card, but the fan is screwed and I had to unplug it. The only way I can keep it from overheating is to keep a small metal fan video card level and blowing on it, and that only keeps it at 135f while idle. :p

And thank you, we need as many prayers as we can get.

Update. :)

Life is taking a turn... for the better. Thank goodness. I thank you folks for your prayers and well wishes.

And my father, though he's the one who makes the money, is trying to talk my mother(she manages the checkbook and everything) into letting me get an 8800. Crossing my fingers, I really hope it works.
