| Yes mount the fan so it is facing upwards and will pull air down and out. |

| Functional Alcoholic | It depends on the case you're using. Some cases you have to mount the PSU so the fan faces the CPU, others you have to mount it so the fan is facing the side of the case, while others it faces up. I personally prefer to face it up so it sucks cool air from the top of the case. Otherwise it's sucking the hot air off the CPU. I think it really comes down to personal preference. |

| Functional Alcoholic | Missed that, in that case you don't need a PSU, the 900 powers itself with it's super powers. I am still right it depends on what case you use. In this case, it looks like you have to point it up. |

While tighter latencies are always better, you will get higher bandwidth by loosening the latencies and boosting the overall clock speed, so you'll see better performance at say DDR2-1000 @ 5-5-5-15 than you'd probably see at DDR2-800 @ 4-4-4-12. There are also other factors which come into play, running your memory synched with your CPU (Your CPU has the most overall affect on system performance). As to the question about kits, and the difference between a premium kit and a budget kit, all kits are tested and validated by the companies, the modules that clock better are rated higher and released as a premium kit, while those that don't are rated at the specs they do pass (DDR2533,667,800) and released at a lower price as a budget kit. All things being equal, I'd rate memory companies in this order for quality, value, and support: 1. Corsair 2. OCZ 3. Super Talent 4. Patriot 5. Muskin 6. Kingston 7. G.Skill 8. GeIL Keep in mind there isn't much difference between #1 and #8, as every company on this list releases high quality parts, its just a matter of balancing several factors......also, probably the most important thing to look at is the individual kit and those comparables. INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU | |
