small chime in: I agree... go with DDR2 over DDR3
most 680i boards should also allow a small bios update to handle 1333 fsb and newer Penryns... If I were you, I would hold off an extra week or two and check the prices on the Penryns when they are released.. also the G92 will be kickass so that will be worth waiting for as well.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

So I went back and added the 2nd 8800GTX (that you're not gonna get now anyway) and still only came up with 486 watts.
The biggest wattage psu I have is 520 watts. The only reason I have one that big is because I needed one RIGHT NOW with a 24 pin mobo connector and that's the only one the local store had on it's shelf. Everything else is 450W and lower.

Intel E8400 - EVGA 780i mobo
Zalman 9700NT - 8 Gig Crucial DDR2-800
Two EVGA GTX260's in SLI
PC P & C 750 watt - Samsung 216BW LCD
Samsung DVD-RW - Logitec Z-640 speakers
Linksys WRT54GL Router - CM 690 Case
Seagate 250gig - Vista Home Premium 64bit

G92 works with a 256-bit bus, so the memory will be 512mb.

The size of the monitor that you use will not really affect the wattage you will use.

No, but it could justify his wanting to SLI a pair of 8800 GTX's. Which would affect the wattage.
