| Enjoy the new comp man! Nothing weird about it... there are a bunch of cases like that (Silverstone TJ-07 and CM Stacker 830 can be configured like that, and the Lian Li V2000 is like that default) and it is ATX. I have heard of issues with heatpipes being messed up when the mobo is upside down, but I can't be sure... ![]() |

| Colonel Calamity | I had some early PII systems that had some cases like that, it worked well for having the PSU pull in the heat from the cpu. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| HL's Technomancer | Haha, yep. It's just a standard ATX configuration that's reversed to take advantage of the better cooling properties of BTX. This became real popular with the oven thats Pentium 4, my old Dell with a P4 has the same layout. Yellow, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the reversed layout messes with the heatpipes since they rely on gravity to draw the cooled water back towards the core. |
