Normally it's not a problem... but my friend didn't have any mountain dew at his house. No computer for him the next day as a result, lol.

But then again I like XP more than Vista because of it's performance gains.

Newegg.com - OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
figured more couldn't hurt.
Since i'm saving so much more now anyways, do you think i should still stay with the case i have picked out? its cosmetics don't matter to me much

I spent an hour puzzling over why my Vista install took a dump after I put in the 4 gigs, took a stick and applied the hotfix. Not sure of SP1 addresses this, but you could always slipstream the hotfix into the install with Vlite.

If you're going with the antec 900, I'd stick with it... really nifty case, and pretty awesome perormance wise.

Well it depends... do you want a better case?

Check out some of your case reviews:

He meant that he pulled a stick of ram out of the case and then installed the update that fixes the problem. Once you run through windows update you can put the full 4 gigs in without any problems.

The ONLY problem I've had with the antec is that with 2 dvd drives, a floppy drive, and 3 hard drives, cable management is a real pain... but I love it.

I would say that it's just looks....

Yea cable management is a real drag with the 900. Thats why I don't like them.

I say stick with the CM 590, and get four of THESE fans. Two of the fans go up top inside of the case (pulling the air out of the case) and two on the side panel (pulling air into the case).
That would be one awesome setup!! You will also get very good temps.

Edit:
Or...... get the CM 690, 2 of those fans and THIS case window.
But I don't know, going with the 590 and the fans I mentioned above would be the best IMO. Looks better and will provide more airflow....
