Default Re: My Newest Project!!!

probably the same problem as my e6400.... bowl shape heatsink plate (the one on the cpu itself)... mine is doing that exact same thing under stress or OC...
I am RMA'ing mine

edit: on my system it seems TAT is a few degrees higher than the others. I have my BIOS beep at me when the cpu temp reaches 60șC and it starts beeping when TAT says usually 64-65, speedfan will say 55 or so....
so it beeps when speedfan says 55, BIOS reaches 60+ and TAT says 65... thats 3 different temps... right now I can fold with both at 100% and it is stable at 53-55șC according to TAT but if I put any real strain on them like from TAT or rthdrbl it jumps to 65+ in TAT...

I put a phlat metal edge along the top of my CPU and it is bowl shape...
I am going to try to get Newegg to let me upgrade to the E6600 and I pay the extra of course

Thanks HL and Corsair!
