Yeah Japan has everything in vending machines. MP3 Players, Cameras, Headphones, Memory Sticks, Batteries, Used Panties. Both times I was in Japan it was hard to find a store, but they had rows of vending machines everywhere.

It's actually a brilliant Idea. Think about it, flash memory cards are the new Film. I travel all the time, and more then once I have filled up my Flash card and I wasn't close enough to my Laptop to Download my pictures. I would probably spend the money to get a flash card quick.

They still have them in vending machines in the barracks overseas. They had Beer and Soju in the vending machines in Korea, and here in Germany they have 4 different kinds of beer.

Those are going to be broken into asap. Just think about how much all of those flash drives are worth and how small they are to hide away.

Whats the point in having them in public places if you need to go home and load it with data?

This is as stupid as a vending machine for eggs. But then again people will buy it purley due to bad impulse shopping habbits.

No Mate, it's for flash memory for digital cameras. They aren't the same vending machines as for food. They are the new electronic ones, that don't get stuck.

Hitman - They still have them in Germany and Korea because Tipper hasn't
taken over their morality police ... yet. Just wait till Pres. Hillary appoints her Commissar of the International Morality Police, then those too will disappear
to some unknown detention camp...

I'd use them for my camera too, as long as they were not charging a huge premium for them.

11 years in the Army I have spent 8.5 overseas. I like it a lot better overseas. Better experiences overseas. Like having racks of beer delivered to your door
