| Want me to ice him,boss? | Heres another thing I would do if I were in your situation. I would unplug everything from your machine,power cord,KB,mouse absolutly everything. Then, hold the power button in for 3 minutes...with it all unplugged,from what M$ support and HP tell me, this is how you de-static your machine.It may help save your pc,even if it does nothing,it would be worth going thru the motions. | Give this a through read: ESD and Thee Next as was well pointed out, you need to get some moisture in the air. Matters not how. As suggest mist the carpets or for that matter boil a few pots of water on the stove. Place wet towels in front of heater registers. Ron PS The You Tube video is a hoot! (At the end of the link) |
