| Functional Alcoholic | Re: If I build it, will it run? Well the Adapter that is plugged in show's it's getting a connection, but it's not recieving an IP address from your router. Try this uninstall both adapters, and reboot. Then install both adapters using the driver CD that came with the board. - |

| Re: If I build it, will it run? Ok, uninstall both devices and the drivers, reboot, then reinstall from the mobo dvd? Also, when I try to install the router from the cd that came with the router (DLink Dir 655 Xtreme gigabit) it gets an error 103 Internet connection not verified. It finds the adapter but does not finish the connection. Could this be the issue also? PS, I am using this router to connect to the internet with this laptop. Log into your router control panel by entering 192.168.0.1 Default user name is Admin, and leave the password blank. If you have already set a password use that one. Then go to the status tab and you should see a screen that looks like this D-LINK SYSTEMS, INC. | WIRELESS ROUTER : Status / Device Info. Look at the bottom of that page and see if your computer is showing up there. |
