btw when i change the rig (talking about the one i'm about to buy) to Intel BOXD975XBXLKR (BADAXE)
i'll go for OCZ DDR2 667 2gb
which is a bit pricey than XMS and P5N32 - SE

There is some quite good deals on Newegg for the OCZ memory, and my personal feeling is the IC shortage that is raising prices right now will subside, and you'll see much more reasonable DDR2 kits shortly.

Im sure entirely what you mean, but if your not gonna go sli the 7900GT is still an awsome card, along with other options such as the x1900GT/XT/XTX and the x1950XTX the 7900GTX are all good cards for high res gaming, even though id probably say there isnt a long run, as DX10 is right around the corner and i think rich said in a another thread the G80 is coming sooner then we think. Also the x1950 could be a good option to when it comes out http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=34039

Halut: Here is the Gigabyte board CApper and I speak of.
http://www.hardwarelogic.com/news/12...006-08-17.html

It's a good board, runs with the way more expensive 975X MBs but lacks the RAID options and full 8x 8x PCI-E Graphics slots. The DS3 took my E6400 to 3.2ghz(400FSB) and beyond.

yeah i read that review... looks promissing, but the DOA tolls are rising with that MoBo... and what i hate most is doing the RMA thing... time consuming and effort waste....

Cap: The Gigabyte DS3 is 965, not sure if that's what you are saying?
