Open up your case and check. You have to have SATA ports.

BTW, could I get a little more info on the mobo (i.e. model)?

It's an Asus Emery motherboard.

I just went and downloaded the spec sheet. No mention of the PSU, but I can't add another HD (apparently the case only has room for two external 5.25" drives and 1 internal 3.5" drive) and the bus is fixed at 800MHz. Looks like its better to completely build a new PC from scratch and leave this one as is.

Oh, I wasn't aware we're talking about a HP PC. Then for sure the FSB is locked... That makes more sense. Yeah, you want to build from scratch.
